So the mission starts and I take a walk around and find the Guru who is about to walk up to the law firm. I run to the ICA Safehouse to get my Jaeger to try and snipe the guy. Oybek Nabazov is a target in mission The Source, a bonus mission in HITMAN™. He is the leader of the doomsday cult 'Liberation.' Oybek Nabazov is an Uzbek artist, and new-age guru. Hitman (stylized as HITMAN) is the 6th game in the Hitman series, released on PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One. It was the first Hitman game to release through an episodic method rather than traditional release. The first episode was released March 11th, 2016, with the sixth and last on October 31st, 2016. For what it's worth, you should probably keep guns in general to a last resort. Generally you're going to want to try for Silent Assassin in the Elusive Target missions (due to the unlockable suits), and sniping a target from far away gives you little to no chance of hiding the body before someone spots it (especially in this case when they weren't alone to begin with).
The clock is ticking… Get ready for the next Elusive Target Re-activation! The Guru will be in Sapienza for 10 days starting at 2pm CET on Friday 23rd March.
Elusive Targets are the closest thing to the Hitman fantasy that we’ve ever created; a unique target that you’ll only have one chance to eliminate. If you kill them or fail the contract, there will be no second chances. When you’re actually playing the contract, the Elusive Target will not appear on the map and will not appear in Instinct. In order to find them, you’ll need to use clues from the briefing video and a photograph that you will be able to review. You’ll need to explore, find your target, learn their patterns and come up with a plan to eliminate them – all whilst playing.
If you missed any Elusive Targets the first time around, or if you are new to HITMAN, this is your chance to experience these intense time-limited targets. All of the suit unlocks are back in play for both new and existing players to complete their collection. If you’ve already completed or failed an Elusive Target, you won’t be able to play that specific contract again; your record for that contract will stand and cannot be altered. Re-activated ET’s will still be time-limited and released periodically.
Elusive Target Rewards
Elusive Target contracts are the only way to unlock some unique suits for Agent 47, ranging from suits specific to each location in Season One, to signature suits from previous games and the prestigious Winter Suit, which is only awarded to players who can complete 5 Elusive Targets with the Silent Assassin rating. All of the suit unlocks are back in play for both new and existing players to complete their collection.
Intel on ET #16 Reactivation
The Guru will be in Sapienza for 10 days starting at 2pm CET on Friday 23rd March 2018. Remember that an Elusive Target cannot be restarted once any targets have been eliminated or any objectives have been completed. (The Guru was originally released as the 16th Elusive Target, but will be the 9th reactivated Elusive Target.)
This Elusive Target has one objective: (1) Eliminate Richard J. Magee
IMPORTANT NOTE: This contract has two additional fail conditions.
- Do not harm, injure or subdue Keith Keeble
- Do not harm, injure or subdue Katherine Feller
These conditions are clearly pointed out in the briefing video.
If either of these conditions is triggered, the Elusive Target contract will be failed, permanently. Approach with caution.

For every Elusive Target that is re-activated, we’ll send notifications through the Companion, and you’ll be able to view the image, countdown and briefing video of the target for the duration of the contract. (We are aware of some users not receiving notifications on iOS and we’re investigating the issue. You’ll still be able to view all assets inside the app, no problems.)

Hitman has been one of the year’s top games thanks to its great stealth gameplay, great art direction and variety of mission locales, such as a Paris fashion show or the desolate farm serving as a militia compound seen in last September’s episode five of the game.
So it’s hard to argue, then, that this first episodic season of Hitman has been nothing less than a success, and the game also features additional content such as the escalation contracts, other challenges and, of course, the now famous Elusive Targets.
The Elusive Targets are assassination targets that only appear in the game for a set period of time, meaning players have a deadline for attempting the contract. To add to the complication, dying during the mission means players will not be able to attempt the contract again, plus some Elusive Target contracts have also featured additional objectives or win conditions.
For instance, last August’s Elusive Target mission required players to steal a valuable object after eliminating a target known as “The Broker”, while the latest Elusive Target contract (number 16) requires that two other people involved in the affairs of a man known as “The Guru” not be harmed.
And this latest Elusive Target is something of a conman, as he is a self-help guru famous for disappearing after scamming his clients… His latest victim is a rich youngster who has a juicy trust fund, so his family has hired the ICA (the organization Agent 47, AKA the Hitman works for) to deal with the man as is explained in the briefing video above, also noting that both the rich lad and a family lawyer sent to protect his interests not be harmed in the mission.

So this looks like another exciting Elusive Target contract for Hitman players to enjoy, and one which will be taking place in the sunny Italian coastal town of Sapienza, which was the setting for the Ether virus mission in episode 2 of this first season of Hitman.

Players will receive a series of rewards for completing these Elusive Target contracts, as can be seen in the image below, surely making these missions one of the most interesting and rewarding parts of IO Interactive’s Hitman reboot this year.
